摘要

Abstract

The axial-incremental extrusion process provides a feasibility approach for high-efficiency and high-performance manufacturing long inner spline of splined hub.In order to optimize and control the axial-incremental extrusion process,the axial incremental extrusion forming characteristics using a three-extruding punch were analyzed by numerical method.The zone of forming tooth-profile can divided into entry zone,correction zone,exit zone and full-deformation zone according to the formation state,material flow and the distributions of stress and strain.The distribution of material displacement,effective stress and effective stain in these zones are similar at different forming stages although the axial length of some zone may be different at different stage.The plastic deformation mainly occurs in entry zone,the main flowing direction of material is radial and axial directions.The strain increases and then remains stable from entry zone to full-deformation zone.
