Abstract
Objective:To explore the status of fear of disease progression(FoP)in tumor patients and its related influencing factors.Method:A total of 120 tumor patients who visited the Affiliated Hospital of Putian University from February 2021 to August 2022 were selected.The survey was conducted using the general information questionnaire,the medical coping modes questionnaire(MCMQ),and the fear of progression questionnaire-short form(FoP-Q-SF)for tumor patients.The FoP levels and related influencing factors in tumor patients were analyzed.Result:The FoP-Q-SF score of 120 tumor patients was(30.10±8.46)points,indicating a moderate level of fear.The FoP-Q-SF scores of patients<60 years old,female patients,rural medical insurance patients,living in rural areas,high school education or below and negative coping style patients were higher than those of patients≥60 years old,male patients,employees or residents medical insurance patients,cities of residence,college education or above,and active coping patients,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in FoP-Q-SF scores in patients with different tumor types,marital status,working status and diagnosis time(P>0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that gender,educational level,place of residence,type of medical insurance,age,and coping style were the influcing factors affecting FoP levels in tumor patients(P<0.05).Conclusion:Tumor patients with FoP are at a moderate level,which is influenced by various factors such as gender,educational level,place of residence,medical insurance type,age,and coping style.Clinical attention should be paid to this.关键词
