Abstract

Objective:To explore the influence of different cultivation methods on the quality of Codonopsis Radix based on"opti-mal character and high quality",so as to provide reference for the study of ecological planting mode of high-quality Codonopsis Radix.Methods:The aspect traits of codonopsis Radix were measured,the contents of water and alcohol-soluble extract were determined,the contents of syringin,tangshenoside Ⅰ,Cobetydin and atractylenolide Ⅲ were determined by HPLC,and the content of fructan was deter-mined by HPGPC.Results:Among the four different cultivation methods of common,scaffolding,interplanting and imitation wild,the in-terplanting and imitation wild cultivation rnethods were beneficial to the formation of diameter,phloem width,rhizome diameter and dry weight of Codonopsis Radix.The color of the xylem part was yellowish and the color of the phloem part was yellowish brown of scaffol-ding,imitation wild cultivated Codonopsis Radix.The contents of syringin and tangshenoside Ⅰ of scaffolding,interplanting samples were significantly higher than those of common and imitation wild cultivated Codonopsis Radix.The highest content(0.5459 mg/g)of lobetyolin was found in interplanting culture,which was significantly higher than that in others,while the lowest content(0.2940 mg/g)was found in scaffolding culture.Atractylenolide Ⅲ content was the highest(0.1526 mg/g)in imitation wild cultivated Codonopsis Ra-dix,which was significantly higher than others.The water content(≤16%)and extract(≥55%)of Codonopsis Radix under the four cultivation methods were in line with the pharmacopoeia standards.The water content of imitation wild Codonopsis Radix was 7.80%,which was significantly lower than that of other cultivation methods.The content of fructan in common culture was the highest(38.66%),while the content in scaffolding culture was the lowest(16.66%).The deeper the color of Codonopsis Radix was,the higher the water content was,and the content of fructan was positively correlated with the brightness of color L∗(P<0.01).Conclusion:Con-sidering the characteristics and index components of Codonopsis Radix,management cost,land resources and other factors,Codonopsis Radix and Scutellaria baicalensis interplanting and imitation wild cultivation are effective and high-quality cultivation models for Codo-nopsis Radix,and have the prospect of popularization and cultivation,the study provides a reference for rational cultivation and resource development and utilization of Codonopsis Radix.
