Abstract

Objective:To study the promoting effect of Coprinellus radians on seed germination of Cremastra appendiculata,so as to provide a simple method for cultivating Cremastra appendiculata seedlings.Methods:The decayed wood covered with brown"carpeted"mycelia and containing blackened autolytic mushrooms(suspected to be Coprinellus radians)was collected and cut into segments,placed into a self-sealing bag.Cremastra appendiculata seeds were scattered on the segments for symbiotic culture.After the seeds germinated to form protocorms,the endophytes were isolated and inoculated into the bag to cultivate the fruiting body.Morphological observation and ITS sequence identification were performed.The experiment of promoting seed germination of Cremastra appendiculata was carried out.Results:The strain was found to promote seed germination of Cremastra appendiculata,and the fruiting body characteristics of the culti-vated strain were consistent with those of the collected strain.According to morphological feature and ITS sequence,the strain was iden-tified as Coprinellus radians.Conclusion:Coprinellus radians can promote seed germination of Cremastra appendiculata,which provides effective method for its breeding and development.
