Abstract

Objective:To investigate medicinal plant resources in Guangyuan Wangcang county through the requirements of the fourth national survey of TCM resources,so as to provide theoretical basis for the development of TCM industry and the protection of TCM resources in Wangcang county.Methods:The methods of sample survey and specimen collection were used to make statistics and analysis of medicinal plant resources in the region.Results:A total of 611 species(including subspecies and varieties)of 416 genera and 137 families of medicinal plants were involved in this survey,most of which were widely distributed in the world,such as Composi-tae,Legumes,Rosaceae,etc.The life type was mostly perennial herbs and shrubs.A total of 93 varieties of traditional Chinese medicine were investigated,all of which were listed in the 2020 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia,among which 46 belonged to the authentic tra-ditional Chinese medicinal materials in Wangcang county and 17 belonged to the state key protection plants.Conclusion:The wild me-dicinal plant resources in Wangcang county are rich,and the temperate distribution type is the main advantage,showing the nature of transition from tropical to temperate.The results can provide reference for local governments to develop strategies for the protection and development of medicinal plant resources.
