Abstract

Objective:To explore the best shading conditions suitable for the artificial cultivation of Sinopodophyllum hexandrum.Methods:The first,second and third year Sinopodophyllum hexandrum were used as the test material,and 30%,50%and 70%shading treatments were set,with no shading as the control.Results:The survival rate of one-year,two-year and three-year Sinopodophyllum hex-andrum was 30%to 40%,50%to 70%and 70%to 90%,respectively.Agronomic characteristics such as plant height,plant width,stem base thickness,root length,root thickness,number of fibrous roots,root fresh weight and drying rate results showed that the rapid growth period of the roots of Sinopodophyllum hexandrum was from June to August,and the shading rate of 30%and 50%was beneficial to the vegetive growth of the roots of Sinopodophyllum hexandrum.The increase of fresh weight of single root of shading treatment was greater than that of control,and the increase was 50%shading rate>30%shading rate>70%shading rate>CK from large to small.The drying rate of Sinopodophyllum hexandrum roots showed a trend of declining-rising-declining with the extenson of growth time.Conclusion:30%to 50%shading rate can improve the survival rate of transplanting Sinopodophyllum hexandrum,and is beneficial to their growth.It is suggested that this light shading rate should be selected when Sinopodophyllum hexandrum is artificially cultivated,and the above-ground part of the plants should be harvested before wilting.
