Effect of ICB orthopedic insole on flat full body pressure and balance function in adolescents
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To observe the changes of foot pressure and balance function before and after the intervention of orthotic insole during the as-ymptomatic period of flat foot in adolescents.Methods:A total of 37 adolescent patients with flat feet who were admitted to the Rehabilitation Depart-ment of Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Xiamen University from April 2022 to July 2022 were selected.ICB orthotic insole prescription was pre-scribed within one week of admission,and re-examination was conducted after wearing the insole for 3 months.The arch index,the proportion of pla-nar pressure distribution and balance function before and after the intervention were compared.Results:After wearing ICB insole for 3 months,the arch index of asymptomatic flat foot patients decreased(P<0.05),the distribution of plantar pressure was significantly improved(P<0.05),and the balance function was significantly improved(P<0.05).Conclusion:Adolescents with flat feet should be intervened as soon as possible.Orthopedic in-sole is a safe,non-invasive,convenient to wear and highly docent-friendly non-surgical intervention method for adolescents with asymptomatic flat feet,which can improve abnormal biomechanics and balance function,and is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
