Abstract

In the process of data transmission of the Internet of Things,insufficient energy or excessive energy consumption of relay sen-sor nodes will lead to failure of some nodes,reducing the service life of the Internet of Things.To solve this problem,a method of mini-mum power consumption placement of relay sensor nodes in the cognitive Internet of Things is proposed.According to the structure char-acteristics of relay nodes and the directed weighted graph,the mathematical model of data transmission power consumption is estab-lished.For the purpose of minimum power consumption layout,constraints on data flow direction,communication capacity,and maximum data transmission times are formulated to prevent reverse transmission of relay nodes,so that nodes can meet the communication capacity range and avoid data transmission events one by one.Greedy algorithm is introduced to deploy relay sensor nodes to achieve the mini-mum power consumption layout of relay sensor nodes.Simulation results show that the maximum power consumption of relay sensor node placement adopting the proposed method is 17.58 J.When the distribution density of sensor nodes is 370/m3,the number of relay nodes is 126,and 150 relay nodes can be arranged in 11.9 s.
