Applicability of Tilted Helical Pile Cluster Foundation for Offshore Wind Turbine

Abstract
According to the actual engineering data,finite element software is used to carry out the design and type selection of tilted helical pile cluster and the traditional pile cluster with pile caps,and a quantitatively comparative analysis is made for their load bearing characteristics under various load conditions.The results show that the tilted helical pile cluster foundation has the vertical bearing performance and lateral stiffness which are significantly better than that of common pile cluster,and the structural displacement and deformation of the former one are relatively small under same load conditions.In terms of economic index,the tilt rate and settlement deformation of the former one can meet the design requirements under same consumption of steel material,but common pile cap foundation cannot meet the requirements,or higher cost has to be born.Thus tilt helical pile cluster foundation applies by taking economy and engineering performance into account.关键词
