肝细胞内Ca2+信号与肝脏再生和肝脏疾病的联系
Association of intracellular calcium signaling with liver regeneration and disease
摘要
Abstract
The liver is a vital organ in the human body, serving as the metabolic center and performing various functions, such as regulating nutrient metabolism, blood volume, immune function, endocrine regulation, maintaining lipid and cholesterol homeostasis, and decomposing heterologous compounds. The liver has a unique ability to regenerate itself, making it the only internal organ in the body capable of recovering from most injuries.Cytoplasmic calcium ions(Ca2+),nuclear Ca2+ and mitochondrial Ca2+contribute to the liver regeneration process. However, the serious and chronic damage by viral infection,long-term alcoholism and medication use will cause dysfunction of liver regeneration ability and lead to liver scarring and cirrhosis, etc.Previous studies have shown that Ca2+ concentration in liver cells plays a significant role in regulating bile secretion, lipid metabolism, cell proliferation, and cell apoptosis in the liver.During liver regeneration, hepatocyte proliferation is affected by Ca2+ mobilization agonist insulin, which regulates hepatocyte proliferation by influencing nuclear Ca2+.In addition, mitochondrial Ca2+ regulates hepatocyte proliferation by inhibiting apoptosis.Chronic viral hepatitis is associated with increased permeability of liver cell membranes, resulting in elevated levels of cytoplasmic calcium. The virus can enhance its replication by regulating the calcium-signaling pathway. This review explores the relationship between Ca2+ signaling in hepatocytes and liver regeneration and various liver diseases.关键词
