Abstract
A method of gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(GC-MS/MS)was established for simultaneous determination of three alcohols in toothpaste,including ethylene glycol,diethylene glycol and triethylene glycol.The toothpaste sample was extracted with ultrapure water,and anhydrous ethanol was added to inhibit the formation of foam.Then it was detected by GC-MS/MS with the injection technique of solvent vent mode,and the external standard method was used to quantitatively analyze the target alcohols in the toothpaste.The results showed that,the three alcohols in toothpaste were well separated on the polyethylene glycol capillary column.The linear correlation coefficients were greater than 0.995,and the recoveries were between 86.7％～94.1％.The limits of detection(LODs)were in the range of 0.18～0.20 mg/kg,and the limits of quantitation(LOQs)were in the range of 0.46～0.50 mg/kg.This method was simple and suitable for the detection of alcohols in toothpastes,which provided technical support for quality control.关键词
