Abstract
The unique topography,distinct climate,and diverse natural ecosystems of Xinjiang have endowed the plants there with remarkable properties such as antioxidation,anti-inflammation,and antibacterial activity.In this review,the geographical features,climates,and plant resources of both northern and southern Xinjiang were introduced,including the fourteen regions such as Aksu,Kashgar,Urumqi and Karamay.Twenty-four Xinjiang characteristic plant resources,including Alhagi camelorum,Saus-surea involucrata,Trollius altaicus and Fritillaria pallidiflora,were introduced.The current status and future prospects in development of cosmetics for anti-wrinkling,firming,skin whitening,soothing,acne treatment,and hair care were systematically summarized.This review could provide theoretical support for the further exploration and application of Xinjiang's plant resources in cosmetics industry.关键词
