Abstract
Objective To explore the impact of total laminectomy and fenestration decompression on JOA score and long-term prognosis of patients with lumbar spinal stenosis.Methods 80 patients with lumbar spinal stenosis admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were randomly divided into two groups,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with fenestration decompression,while the observation group was treated with total laminectomy.The JOA score,VAS score,complications and long-term prognosis of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the JOA score was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 5.0％,lower than 20.0％in the control group(P＜0.05).After 1-year follow-up,no statistical difference was found in the excellent recovery rate between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusions Both total laminectomy and fenestration decompression can achieve an ideal long-term prognosis in the clinical treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis,but total laminectomy can effectively reduce the pain degree and risk of complications,and promote the recovery of disease.关键词
