Abstract

Objective To explore the application effect of personalized posture management combined with non-invasive positive pressure ventilation in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)complicated with respiratory failure.Methods 94 COPD patients with respiratory failure admitted to our hospital from April 2020 to September 2022 were selected and randomly divided into two groups,with 47 cases in each group.Both groups received non-invasive positive pressure ventilation,the control group received routine nursing,and the observation group received personalized posture management.Both groups received continuous observation until discharge.The blood gas indicators and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results After nursing,the arterial blood partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2)in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the arterial blood partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2)was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After nursing,the St.George's Respiratory Questionnaire(SGRQ)score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Personalized posture management combined with non-invasive positive pressure ventilation can improve the blood gas indicators and quality of life in COPD patients with respiratory failure.
