Abstract
In livestock breeding,the application of genetic mutations and genetic effects can improve the production performance and quality of livestock,improve human diet,but also bring new challenges.This paper discusses the application of gene mutation and its genetic effects in livestock breeding.Firstly,it expounds the importance of gene mutation and genetic effects in livestock breeding,and points out that the applications of gene mutation and genetic effects in livestock breeding include improving livestock varieties,improving production performance and improving quality.Faced with technical bottlenecks,legal and regulatory restrictions,social ethical and moral disputes,and the challenges of low awareness of farmers,in order to optimize the application of gene mutation and genetic effects in livestock breeding,it is suggested to strengthen the research and development of gene editing technology,improve the relevant laws and regulations,improve the awareness of farmers,increase policy support,pay attention to ecological environmental protection,and carry out genetic resources investigation and evaluation.关键词
