The Effect of Light on Livestock Production
摘要
Abstract
As one of the main environmental factors,light affects many aspects of animals.With the continuous development of animal husbandry,how to improve production efficiency has become the focus of attention.Among them,light is closely related to the living environment of animals,on the one hand,it can affect the growth of livestock and poultry,such as reducing the ratio of feed to gain,improving the meat quality and the survival rate of a variety of livestock and aquatic products.On the other hand,light affects the egg production rate of poultry and the estrus of mammals through different photoperiod,and improves the reproductive performance of livestock and poultry.This paper briefly summarizes the influence of light on livestock production under different light sources,light intensity,light duration,light wave length and other conditions,briefly introduces the mechanism of light action,the photographic system of mammals and birds,and the role of light in production management,aiming to provide a basis for rational use of light in livestock production and improve the production efficiency of livestock and poultry.And establish the foundation for the follow-up research.关键词
