Effects of rTMS Combined with Comprehensive Rehabilitation Intervention on Clinical Symptoms and Speech Function Rehabilitation in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)combined with comprehensive rehabilitation intervention on clinical symptoms and speech function rehabilitation of children with autism spectrum disorder(ASD).Methods From August 2021 to May 2023,141 children with ASD were randomly selected in the Rehabilitation Center of Hunan Children's Hospital and divided into the observation group(72 cases)and the control group(69 cases)by the random number table method.The control group was given conventional comprehensive rehabilitation treatment,and the observation group was given rTMS treatment on the basis of the control group.The relevant parameters and scale scores were compared.All children were followed up for at least 5 months.Results After treatment,Autism Behavior Checklist(ABC)and Childhood Autism Rating Scale(CARS)scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of various factors in the neuropsychological development checklist of children aged 0 to 6 years old showed that adaptive ability,social ability and speech function scores in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group after treatment(P<0.05),while there was no difference in gross motor and fine motor scores between the two groups(P>0.05).At the last follow-up,the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program(VB-MAPP)scores in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions rTMS combined with comprehensive rehabilitation intervention can significantly improve the symptoms of children with ASD,improve their neurological,verbal,social and perceptual abilities.关键词
