The Relationship between Tinnitus and Listening Effort Mediated by Cognitive Function

Abstract
The relationship between tinnitus and listening effort has received increasing attention.So far,the majority of related research is empirical,using various measurement methods of listening effort combined with evaluation methods of tinnitus to explore the impact of tinnitus on listening effort in the clinical tinnitus population.There are not many theoretical insights focusing on the relationship between the two topics.This review aims to extract and summarize the potential links between tinnitus and listening effort from a cognitive function perspective,and to propose a verifiable theoretical framework for the tinnitus-listening effort relationship mediated by cognition.关键词
