摘要

Abstract

Objective To study the correlation between electrically evoked stapedius reflex thresholds(ESRT),electrically evoked compound action potential(ECAP)thresholds and most comfortable level(M Value)in cochlear im-plant(CI)patients.Methods The study subjects were 42 patients aged from 11 to 58 years old,including 22 males and 20 females.CI devices included Cochlear(n=1 6),MED-EL(n=23)and AB(n=4).M values and ECAP thresholds of the same channel were obtained during CI programming.Ipsilateral and contralateral ESRTs were measured from the same channel using a Titan audiometer.Results The rate of ipsilateral ESRT acquisition was 71.43%and 97.54%for contralat-eral ESRTs,with the latter highly correlated with M values(Cochlear:r=0.48,P<0.001;MED-EL:r=0.76 P<0.001;AB:r=0.78,P<0.001).ECAP thresholds also showed correlation with M values(Cochlear:r=0.78,P<0.001;MED-EL:r=0.43,P<0.01;AB:r=0.78,P=0.07).ESRTs were also associated with ECAP thresholds(Cochlear:r=0.78,P<0.001;MED-EL:r=0.44,P<0.05;AB:r=0.53,P=0.27).Conclusion Contralateral ESRTs are highly associated with the M val-ue and thus can be clinically used as a reference in setting the maximum comfort level when programming CI.
