Abstract

Naruo copper-gold deposit is located in the northern part of the western section of the Bangong Lake-Salween River suture zone,and is one of the important constituent deposits of Dolong mineral assemblage area,with proven reserves reaching large scale.In this paper,we investigate the geological characteristics,ore body characteristics,ore characteristics and wall rock alteration,etc.Through field research and indoor petrography and mineragraphy analyses,we classify the formation process of Naruo copper-gold deposit into five mineralization stages:magmatic stage,potassium feldspar-sulfide stage,quartz-polymetallic sulfide stage,quartz-pyrite stage and oxidation stage.At the same time,the wall rock alteration characteristics of Naruo copper-gold deposit were analyzed,and it was concluded that Naruo copper-gold deposit can be divided into four alteration zones from the center of the rock body to the surrounding rocks,which are potassic alteration zone,sericitic alteration zone,propylitization zone and keratinization zone,and have the typical central surface alteration characteristics of porphyry-type deposits.The genesis type of Naruo deposit is porphyry type of copper-gold deposit.According to the geological conditions of the ore body,It is proposed that the early Cretaceous granodorite porphyry and middle Jurassic feldspar quartz sandstone of Sewa formation and their contact zone with K-silicate alteration,the quartz-sericite alteration,and the propylitization are important prospecting markers.
