Performance System Level Simulation and Evaluation of NR-Based Integrated Sensing and Communication Systems

Abstract
As a pivotal technique for the next generation of wireless communication,integrated sensing and communication(ISAC)leverages shared software and hardware resources or information to simultaneously achieve dual functionalities of sensing and communication,catering to a variety of service demands.While the academic and industrial sectors have initiated preliminary research on ISAC,the focus predominantly lies on the performance analysis of individual ISAC base stations without addressing the interference issues prevalent across multiple cells.Consequently,there is an urgent need for a comprehensive system-level simulation performance evaluation.A system-level simulation platform,constructed based on the NR standard,is proposed to analyze the performance of integrated OFDM waveforms and OTFS waveforms in ISAC systems under various time-frequency domain resource allocation scenarios.This evaluation will offer insightful recommendations for the deployment of ISAC networks.关键词
