"寒门"如何出贵子:高职院校中的"文化流动"与"文化生产"
How to Produce Noble Children from Poor Family:"Cultural Flow"and"Cultural Production"in Higher Vocational Colleges

Abstract
The bulk of research have focused on the experiences of students from poor families in elite undergraduate institutions and figured out the reasons why they make the intergenerational leap,while no attention has been paid to the poor children from vocational education.Based on the theory of cultural capital,this study adopts semi-structured interviews with 11 higher vocational college graduates,and explores the feasibility of vocational education experience,both informal and formal type,in promoting the intergenerational mobility of working-class kids.The results find that,firstly,higher vocational colleges provide space and resources for the accumulation and generation of cultural capital for underclass kids;besides,ascetic quality,as a unique underclass cultural capital,is still applicable in the field of colleges and universities;lastly,In higher vocational colleges,the underclass students achieve success mainly through the dual path of"cultural flow"and"cultural production",namely,acquiring social habitus and human capital through the path of"cultural mobility",and generating confidence through the path of"cultural production".关键词
