The Worldview of Engineering:A New Realm in Contemporary Philosophy
摘要
Abstract
This article innovatively proposes the concept of"engineering worldview",providing an in-depth analysis of worldview from the unique perspective of engineering philosophy.By contrasting the scientific worldview,the article elaborates on three developmental stages and subject valuations of the engineering worldview:in ancient mythology and religious theology,the creator god is regarded as the engineering subject;in modern society,humans become the engineering subject;while in the future intelligent society,robots are expected to become the new engineering subject.This viewpoint not only expands human engineering thinking from the real world to a broader possible world but also effectively integrates diverse ideological cultures throughout history.Furthermore,the article emphasizes the close connection between the engineering worldview and the scientific worldview,pointing out that they complement each other and constitute a complete system of human cognition of the world.Meanwhile,the article explicitly opposes the opposition of different stages of the worldview,emphasizing its importance as a coherent conceptual system.Finally,by comparing it with historical worldviews such as rationalism,irrationalism,empiricism,and activism,the article further highlights the novelty and uniqueness of the engineering worldview in contemporary philosophy,arguing that it represents a new direction in philosophical development.分类
