Research on Coupling and Coordination Between Digital Economy and High-Quality Development of Manufacturing Industry:A Case Study of the Yellow River Basin

Abstract
Digital economy has become an important guarantee for stable growth in the new era.Using panel data from the nine provinces in the Yellow River Basin from 2011 to 2020,this paper constructs evalu-ation indicators for digital economy and high-quality development of manufacturing industry.Using methods such as entropy,coupling coordination model,relative development model and grey correlation model,this paper studies the coupling coordination level and driving factors between digital economy and high-quality development of manufacturing industry in the Yellow River Basin.The research findings are as follows:(1)From 2011 to 2020,both the digital economy index and the high-quality manufacturing development index in the Yellow River Basin showed a growing trend,but there was evident spatial heterogeneity.(2)During the study period,the coupling coordination degree of the digital economy and high-quality manufactur-ing development in the Yellow River Basin continued to rise,showing a spatial characteristic that the down-stream was greater than the middle,and the middle was greater than the upstream.(3)Technological inno-vation,openness to the outside world,the level of urbanization,human capital,and government support are driving factors for the coupling coordination of the digital economy and high-quality manufacturing develop-ment in the Yellow River Basin.Based on these conclusions,relevant policy suggestions are proposed.关键词
