Abstract

The roadbed is the foundation of highway construction,and soft soil foundation is widely distributed on both sides of rivers,which brings difficulties to roadbed construction and highway use.The article studied the advantages of using cement fly ash gravel piles(CFG)to treat a soft soil foundation.The finite element method was used to numerically simulate the soft soil foundation treated with CFG piles,analyze the changes in engineering indicators before and after foundation treatment,and then conduct dynamic analysis under vehicle dynamic loads.The results show that the settlement of soft soil foundation treated with CFG piles is significantly reduced,the uneven settlement effect is signifi-cantly improved,the horizontal displacement is reduced,and the horizontal displacement of the embankment is controlled,which improves the service performance of the highway embankment and ensures its safety and stability.
