摘要

Abstract

The incorporation of steel fibers with excellent crack-resistant properties into concrete is an effective approach to solve the problems of insufficient shear crack resistance and excessive deflection on the beams reinforced with fiber rein-forced polymer(FRP)stirrups.The effects of steel fiber volume rates(0.5%,1.0%,1.5%)and shear span ratios(1.5,2.0,3.0)on the shear crack resistance of the test beams are investigated by testing the shear performance of eight concrete beams reinforced with glass fiber polymer composite(GFRP)stirrups.The results show that steel fiber can effectively inhibit the expansion of micro cracks inside the concrete beams reinforced with GFRP stirrups and thus improve their overall stiff-ness and crack resistance.When the shear span ratio is 2.0,the shear-cracking resistance of the test beam with the steel fi-ber volume ratio of 1.5%increases by 38.4%compared with the control beam without steel fibers.With the increase of shear span ratio,the shear crack resistance of the test beams gradually decreases.Based on the experimental data and exist-ing research results,a suggested formula for cracking load of inclined section of steel fiber concrete beams reinforced with FRP stirrups is proposed,and the calculated values of the proposed model are consistent with the experimental values.
