Qualitative studies on experience and needs of elderly patients receiving telemedicine care:a Meta-integration
摘要
Abstract
Objective To systematically review the qualitative studies on the experience and needs of telemedicine care in elderly patients,so as to provide reference for clinical practice.Methods We searched databases including CINAHL,The Cochrane Library,PubMed,Embase,Scopus,Web of Science,CNKI,CBM,VIP Data and WanFang Data from the inception to February 2023,to collect qualitative studies regarding the experience and need of telemedicine care in elderly patients.Results A total of 18 studies were included,extracting 75 research results,and 4 synthesized findings were grouped from 14 categories including the attitude towards telemedicine care;benefits of telemedicine care;barriers to receive telemedicine care;long-term needs of receiving telemedicine care.Conclusion Elderly patients have diverse attitudes toward telemedicine care,and face many challenges while benefiting from it.We should pay attention to the experience and needs of elderly patients receiving telemedicine care,so as to promote the promotion and the continuous use of telemedicine care.关键词
