Abstract
Objective:To observe the expression of serum interleukin-6(IL-6)and interleukin-17(IL-17)in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA)and their significance by conducting a retrospective analysis.Methods:Ret-rospective analysis was performed to collect baseline data from 110 RA patients admitted to our hospital from Feb-ruary 2020 to February 2023,and to assess the disease activity of RA patients according to the DAS28 scoring sys-tem and divide them into stable group(DAS28 score≤3.2)and progressive group(DAS28 score>3.2),and to observe the expression of serum IL-6 and IL-17 in both groups and analyze The relationship between the above serum expression and disease activity was analyzed.Results:The results of 110 RA patients enrolled in the group were evaluated by the DAS28 scoring system,which showed that 37 patients were highly active with a mean score of(7.21±1.52),32 patients were moderately active with a mean score of(4.12±0.67),and 41 patients were hy-poactive with a mean score of(2.15±0.52);compared with the stable group,serum IL-6 and IL-17 expressions were higher in the progressive group,and the mean DAS28 score was higher in the progressive group.Compared with the stable group,the mean score of DAS28 was higher than that of the stable group(P<0.05),and other in-formation was compared between groups(P>0.05);logistic regression models were established,and the results showed that serum IL-6 and IL-17 expression were related to disease activity in RA patients,and serum IL-6 and IL-17 overexpression was a risk factor for disease progression in RA patients(OR>1,P<0.05);plotting ROC curves showed that the AUC of serum IL-6 and IL-17 expression alone and in combination to predict dis-ease activity in RA patients was>0.80,which was a good predictive value.Conclusion:Serum IL-6 and IL-17 expression are closely related to disease activity in RA patients,and serum IL-6 and IL-17 overexpression is an important factor leading to disease progression in RA patients.关键词
