Effects of drug intervention combined with health education on blood glucose level,liver function and quality of life in patients with T2DM complicated with NAFLD

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of drug intervention combined with health education on blood glu-cose,liver function and quality of life in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)complicated with nonalco-holic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Methods:200 patients with T2DM complicated with NAFLD were divided into two groups using the random number table method.The control group(100 patients)were given routine medica-tion guidance and metformin hypoglycemic treatment for 3 months,while the observation group(100 patients)were given health education combined with lialurutide and metformin hypoglycemic treatment for 3 months.Paired T-test or independent sample T-test were used to compare the changes and differences in blood glucose level con-trol[Mean postprandial glucose excursions(MAGE),standard deviation blood glucose(SDBG),mean postprandial glucose excursion(MPPGE),means of daily differences(MODD)],liver function[alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),total bilirubin level of TBIL),glutamyl transpeptidase(GGT),glob-ulin(GLB)],and quality of life[Euro qol 5dimension visual analogue scale(EQ5D-VAS)score,summary of dia-betes selfcare actives(SDSCA-6),36-Item Short Form Health Survey(SF-36)]between the two groups before and after treatment.Results:Two groups after treatment,MAGE、SDBG、MPPGE、MODD、ALT、AST、TBIL、GGT、GLB were decreased(P<0.05),the EQ5D-VAS score,SDSCA-6score were increased(P<0.05).After treatment,FPG,2hPG,FINS,HOMA-IR,HbAlc,ALT,AST,TBIL,GLB,GGT in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),and EQ5D-VAS,SDSCA-6 and SF-36 scores were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Health education combined with liraglutide and metformin can stabilize blood glucose level,protect liver function and improve patients'quality of life.关键词
