摘要

Abstract

Probiotics have significant effects in promoting the intestinal function and maintaining the stability of the intestinal microbial community in livestock and poultry.The intestinal epithelium and mucosa serve as the first line of defense against the invasion of exogenous pathogens in the body,playing a crucial role in maintaining overall health.Probiotics can enhance the tight junctions between intestinal epithelial cells,increase the secretion of immune substances,improve the intestinal mucosal barrier,and contribute to the overall health of the organism.This article reviews the mechanisms of action of probiotics on the intestinal tract of livestock and poultry,as well as their impact on immune organs,immune cells and factors,and intestinal mucosal immune function.The aim is to provide new insights for the development of probiotics and their application in livestock and poultry production.
