Abstract
The purpose of this experiment was to study the effects of compound fatty acids on the reproductive performance of sows,antioxidant performance and immune performance of piglets.Forty-two American sows with 4～6 parity were randomly divided into three groups with 14 replicates in each group and one sow in each replicate.The control group was fed with a basal diet,the experimental group Ⅰ was fed with compound fatty acids with the ratio of long-chain fatty acids to medium-chain fatty acids of 8∶2,and the experimental group Ⅱ was fed with compound fatty acids with the ratio of long-chain fatty acids to medium-chain fatty acids of 7∶3.The experiment lasted for 28 days from the 107th day of gestation to the end of weaning at the age of 21 days.The results showed that compared with the control group,the milk fat and total solids contentrations in colostrum of sows in the experimental group Ⅰ increased significantly(P＜0.05).The content of malondialdehyde(MDA)of piglets aged 15 and 22 days in the experimental group Ⅰ was decreased(P＞0.05).The result shows that adding compound fatty acids with the ratio of long-chain fatty acids to medium-chain fatty acids of 8:2 to the diet of sows during late pregnancy and lactation can improve the primary milk quality of sows and enhance the antioxidant capacity of piglets.关键词
