摘要

Abstract

Extracellular vesicles(Extracellular vesicles,EVs)with its natural biological characteristics and ac-quired multi-functional advantages,gradually involved in the body's regulation of the physiological and pathologi-cal process,becomes a powerful tool for disease prevention,treatment,and evaluation.Cancer is one of the major diseases that endanger human health at present.Its clinical treatment mainly relies on radiotherapy and chemother-apy,surgical resection and emerging immunotherapy.However,the above treatment methods still have shortcom-ings such as strong drug side effects,low bioavailability,high treatment cost,and easy recurrence,which affect the progress of cancer treatment.Therefore,the emergence of EVs for cancer treatment provides more secure and efficient means.But the low yield,weak self-targeting ability and low drug loading ability of naturally occurring single EVs have limited the development of clinical translation of disease treatment.So,the establishment of multi-functional hybrid membrane nanovesicles with strong universality and good flexibility is the key to expand the prac-tical utility of EVs.This review systematically summarizes the preparation methods,classification characteristics,application and challenges of HMNVs in cancer treatment,and provides theoretical guidance for the development of promising precision medicine nanoplatforms.
