Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical characteristics and influencing factors of secondary bronchiectasis in children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia.Methods:A total of 172 children with severe mycoplasma pneumonia hospitalized in Hebei Children's Hospital from June 2020 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects.The children were divided into dilated group(n=72)and control group(n=100)according to the results of CT examination 3 months after acute mycoplasma pneumonia.Age,heat course,wheezing,pleural effusion,location and type of lung lesions,and occurrence of extrapulmonary complications were analyzed in the 2 groups.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of secondary bronchiectasis in children with mycoplasma pneumonia.Results:The heat duration≥10 d,pleural effusion,middle and lower lung compactness ratio and C-reactive protein in dilated group were higher than those in control group,and the proportion of macrolide antibiotics used within 7 days of onset and bron-choscopy used within 7 days of onset were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).Heat duration(OR=1.560),pleural effusion(OR=1.261),lung solid site(OR=1.082),C-reactive protein(OR=1.042),was an influential factor in stimulating bronchiectasis in children with severe mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(P<0.05).Conclusion:Heat du-ration≥10 days,pleural effusion,elevated C-reactive protein,and middle and lower lung lobular thickness are risk fac-tors for secondary bronchiectasis sequelae in children with severe mycoplasma pneumonia.Bronchoscopy and treatment should be performed as soon as possible for children with these risk factors to reduce the occurrence of secondary bronchi-ectasis sequelae.
