Abstract
Objective To observe the application effect of early warning score for children in the illness evaluation of severe pneumonia in children.Methods A total of 70 children with severe pneumonia in Bincheng District People's Hospital of Binzhou from July 2020 to July 2022 were selected and divided into control group(n=35)and observation group(n=35)by the random number table method.The control group was evaluated by pediatric critical illness score,and the observation group was evaluated by pediatric early warning score.The correct recognition rate of condition observation,early recognition rate of critically ill children and correct rate of timely transfer to pediatric intensive care unit(PICU)were compared between the two groups.Results The correct recognition rate of condition observation in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The early recognition rate of critically ill children in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The correct rate of timely transfer to PICU in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Early warning score for children can accurately and timely evaluate the condition of severe pneumonia in children,which is worth promoting.关键词
