Abstract
Objective:To investigate the correlation between transrectal contrast-enhanced ultrasound parameters and clini-copathological features and survival prognosis of patients with rectal cancer. Methods:A total of 130 patients with primary rectal cancer who received radical resection of rectal cancer in our hospital from May 2020 to May 2021 were selected as the rectal cancer group, and 100 patients who underwent colonoscopic polyps in our hospital during the same period and were pathologically identified as benign polyps were selected as the intestinal polyp group. All patients underwent transrectal contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)and recorded the peak time(TTP),peak intensity(PI),area under the curve(AUC)and other parameters. The preoperative differences of the above parameters between the rectal cancer group and the intestinal polyp group were compared, and the relationship between the quantitative parameters of CEUS and the path-ological characteristics and survival prognosis of rectal cancer was analyzed. Results:The transrectal CEUS parameters TTP in rectal cancer group were shorter than those in intestinal polyp group, and PI and AUC were higher than those in intestinal polyp group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in CEUS parameters TTP,PI and AUC values among rectal cancer patients with different age, sex, tumor location from anal margin, longest tumor diameter, pathological type, nerve invasion and serum CEA level(P>0.05).The CEUS parameters TTP,PI and AUC values of rectal cancer patients with different TNM stage, tumor differentiation degree and lymph node metastasis had statistical significance(P<0.05).During the follow-up period,28 of the 130 patients with rectal cancer had recur-rences and metastases and belonged to the recurrences and metastases group, and the other 102 patients did not have recur-rences and belonged to the non-recurrences and metastases group. The CEUS parameter TTP of patients in the recur-rence and metastasis group was shorter than that in the group without recurrence and metastasis, and the PI and AUC were higher than that in the group without recurrence and metastasis, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Preoperative transrectal CEUS parameters in patients with rectal cancer are obviously abnormal, and the specific parameter values are closely related to clinicopathological characteristics and survival prognosis, which may become one of the routine examination methods for subsequent rectal cancer patients.关键词
