Stoneley Wave Detection Experiment and Inversion of Equivalent Fracture Width
摘要
Abstract
The physical experiment of acoustic wave measurement was carried out in a scaled model well in order to identify and evalu-ate fracture formation.The characteristics of Stoneley waves under different width and number of horizontal fractures were analyzed through numerical simulation,and the influences of the width and number of horizontal fractures on the attenuation of Stoneley waves was summarized.On this basis,the concept of equivalent fracture width was proposed for the first time,the impact of fracture zones on Stoneley wave amplitude was quantitatively characterized,and an inversion method and process based on equivalent fracture width were established.The research results show that as the equivalent fracture width increases,the amplitude of the direct Stoneley wave decrea-ses exponentially.Under the same equivalent fracture width,the more the number of fractures,the greater the amplitude of the direct Stoneley wave.The equivalent fracture width can be used to quantitatively characterize the fracture zone.关键词
