Risk factors and prevention of postoperative delirium after cardiac surgery
摘要
Abstract
With the development of cardiac surgery and cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB)technology,the postoperative outcomes of patients have been significantly improved.However,postoperative delirium(POD)is still regarded as one of the most commonly neurological complications after cardiac surgery,which significantly increased overall postoperative complications and mortality rates,length of hospital stay,and expenditures.This systematic review is conducted to summarize the definition,pathogenesis,diagnostic methods,risk factors and prevention of POD following cardiac surgery,in order to provide evidence-based medicine for current clinical practice.关键词
