Treatment of refractory septic shock in children by extracorporeal membrane oxygenation:current situation,difficulties and exploration
摘要
Abstract
Refractory septic shock is the most severe type of sepsis in children.In the past,extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO)was considered as a relative contraindication for refractory septic shock.In recent years,there has been significant progress in the treatment and management of refractory septic shock.ECMO is recommended as the last resort of salvage treatment for children with refractory septic shock by the guideline and consensus.However,there are still many controversies and difficulties in the ECMO treatment for children with refractory septic shock,such as the timing of ECMO treatment,and the choice of different intubation methods,which will all affect the prognosis.This review specifies the current situation,difficulties and exploration of ECMO in the treatment of refractory septic shock in children.关键词
