Mechanism and Test of Vocational Education Promoting Common Prosperity

Abstract
Common prosperity is an important feature of Chinese path to modernization.As a type of education closely integrated with economic and social development,vocational education is the key support to achieve common prosperity.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces from 2013 to 2020,this paper systematically analyzes the impact of vocational education on common prosperity by using fixed effect model,mediating effect model and regulatory effect model.The results show that vocational education has a positive impact on common prosperity and its dimensions,but this promotion has regional heterogeneity;vocational education can help realize common prosperity by promoting urbanization and upgrading industrial structure;digital economy has a positive regulatory effect on vocational education to promote common prosperity.Based on the above research findings,we should focus on the high-quality development of vocational education,improve the level of vocational education in the central and western regions,and enhance the adaptability of vocational education to help realize the common prosperity of all people.关键词
