Mechanism and Test of Vocational Education Promoting Common Prosperity
共同富裕是中国式现代化的重要特征,职业教育作为与经济社会发展紧密结合的教育类型,是实现共同富裕的关键支撑.选取2013-2020年我国30个省市区的面板数据,运用固定效应模型、中介效应模型和调节效应模型,系统分析职业教育对共同富裕的影响,结果表明:职业教育对共同富裕及其各维度均有正向影响,但这种促进作用存在区域异质性;职业教育能够通过推进城镇化和促进产业结构升级助力实现共同富裕;数字经济对职业教育促进共同富裕具有正向调节效应.基于上述研究发现,应聚焦职业教育高质量发展,提升中西部地区职业教育水平,增强职业教育适应性,以助力实现全体人民共同富裕.
Common prosperity is an important feature of Chinese path to modernization.As a type of education closely integrated with economic and social development,vocational education is the key support to achieve common prosperity.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces from 2013 to 2020,this paper systematically analyzes the impact of vocational education on common prosperity by using fixed effect model,mediating effect model and regulatory effect model.The results show that vocational education has a positive impact on common prosperity and its dimensions,but this promotion has regional heterogeneity;vocational education can help realize common prosperity by promoting urbanization and upgrading industrial structure;digital economy has a positive regulatory effect on vocational education to promote common prosperity.Based on the above research findings,we should focus on the high-quality development of vocational education,improve the level of vocational education in the central and western regions,and enhance the adaptability of vocational education to help realize the common prosperity of all people.
