Analysis of correlation between internship self-expansion and job search self-efficacy of undergraduate nursing students

Abstract
Objective To explore the correlation between internship self-expansion and job search self-efficacy,analyze its influencing factors,and provide theoretical foundation for improving practice self-expansion of nursing undergraduates.Methods From July to October 2022,257 undergraduate nursing interns from three universities were chosen to be the research subjects through convenience sampling.They were investigated and analyzed with questionnaires of general information,job search self-efficacy and internship self-development.Results The total score and the scores of all parameters of internship self-expansion were positively correlated with the those of job search self-efficacy.The results of regression analysis manifested that job search self-efficacy could independently explain 40.5%variation of practice self-expansion.Conclusions Undergraduate nursing students'internship self-expansion and job search self-efficacy levels were both at a moderate to high level and positively correlated.Nursing educators should focus on the cultivation of nursing undergraduates' job search self-efficacy in order to improve their practice self-expansion in a personalized way.关键词
