Abstract

Aiming at the problems of high power consumption,short communication distance and unstable signal quality of traditional wireless communication technology used in cotton field irrigation environment,an automatic control system for water-saving irrigation in cotton field is designed based on Lora technology.Firstly,the overall design scheme of the system is put forward.The system takes Arduino as the core controller and collects the soil moisture information of cotton field through the field information collection node.Next,the Lora network is used to transmit the data to the Lora base station.Then use 4G network to transmit data to the cloud platform of Internet of things and complete the real-time moni-toring of soil moisture data on the web and mobile app,and control the field execution control terminal.After,considering the irrigation demand of cotton field,the selection and design of system hardware,software design and the development of Internet of things platform are completed.Finally,the system communication test is carried out.The results show that within a certain communication distance,the system runs stably,can complete real-time data acquisition,transmission and valve remote control,and meet the communication needs of complex cotton field environment.
