Structural and expression analysis of the ASI gene family
摘要
Abstract
To study the structural features and functions of genes encoding α-amylase/subtilisin inhibitor(ASI),a total of 33 ASI gene family members from 23 plant species were identified in this study by using NCBI,Phytozome and other platforms.The evolutionary characteristics the physicochemical properties and conserved motifs of ASI proteins were analyzed.At the same time,RT-qPCR was combined to analyze the expression pattern of RASI under drought and salinity stress.The results showed that the ASI gene family is highly conserved,but the upstream and downstream regions of the encoded proteins are differently conserved.Meanwhile,the cis-acting element prediction results suggested that the ASI genes may be involved in the physiological processes such as the regulation of plant growth and development,and the response to biotic and abiotic stresses.RT-qPCR analysis revealed that the expression of RASI in roots,leaf sheaths and leaves of rice at the seedling stage changed differently compared with the unstressed condition.These results indicate that ASI genes may have diverse biological functions.关键词
