Research Progress of Ferroptosis in Esophageal Cancer
摘要
Abstract
The fact of high incidence and mortality rate of esophageal cancer in China,making it an ur-gent problem to address.Ferroptosis is a non-apoptotic form of cell death characterized by the accumulation of intracellular iron and reactive oxygen species.Induction of ferroptosis has been shown to have great potential for the treatment of esophageal cancer.There are several studies on ferroptosis and the biological behaviour of tumours,but so far there is less evidence on the relationship between ferroptosis and esophageal cancer.This review will summarize the role of ferroptosis in esophageal cancer and explore the direction of ferroptosis in e-sophageal cancer.关键词
