Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of introducer percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy on nu-tritional indicators, inflammatory cytokine levels, and pathway infections in patients with esophageal cancer and dysphagia. Methods 96 patients with esophageal cancer and dysphagia admitted to the Department of Minimally Invasive Oncology from March 2020 to September 2022 were selected and were divided into the Pull method group and the Introducer method group according to their surgical methods.48 cases in the Pull method group were treated with Pull method percutaneous endoscopic stoma to establish an enteral nutrition pathway, while 48 cases in the Introducer method group were treated with Introducer method percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy to establish an enteral nutrition pathway. The replacement rate of fistula tubes,nutri-tional status, levels of inflammatory factors, and incidence of complications between two groups of patients were compared. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the replacement rate of fistulas between the two groups of patients during outpatient follow-up(P>0.05).After treatment, the TSF,upper arm muscle circumference,FFMI,hemoglobin, albumin, and prealbumin levels in the Introducer group were higher than those in the Pull group(P<0.05);the levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in the Introducer group were all lower than those of the Pull group(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).Conclusion The Introducer percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy can improve the nutritional status of patients with esophageal cancer and dysphagia, and reduce their levels of inflammatory response in the body.关键词
