A SURVEY OF METAPHOR DESIGN IN INTERFACE
摘要
Abstract
The research of metaphor design in interface is analysed and summarized.From the perspective of metaphor originated from rhetoric,based on the mapping mechanism in conceptual metaphor theory,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of metaphor design in the interface from the aspects of the origin,application value and significance,and mechanism,and clarifies the essence and core of metaphor design in the interface.Taking interface icons as an example,this paper sums up the specific application methods of metaphor design from three perspectives:concrete metaphor,abstract metaphor and relational metaphor.It clarifies the concept and essence of metaphor in interface design,summarizes the design methods of metaphor in interface icon design,forms a relatively systematic theoretical framework.It provides inspiration and reference for designers to better apply metaphor design methods in interface design,so as to ultimately achieve the goal of optimizing the user experience in the interaction process with the interface and improving the usability of interface design.关键词
