Group Work Intervention in Enhancing Self-efficacy of Patients with Hand Dysfunction
摘要
Abstract
Hand dysfunction after stroke is a common neurological injury,and patients with hand dysfunction often find it difficult to cope with the challenges of rehabilitation due to low self-efficacy in the course of comprehensive treatment,including surgery,physical therapy,rehabilitation training and social support.Medical group work focuses on the physiological,psychological and social needs of patients,representing a shift in medical paradigm from traditional"biomedical"medicine to modern"biopsychosocial"medicine,which is inherently suitable for interventions on rehabilitation and self-efficacy enhancement of patients with hand dysfunction.The present study utilizes positive reinforcement theory as the theoretical basis for this study.In this study,based on the theory of positive reinforcement,a multidisciplinary collaborative model was used to conduct group work intervention for 10 patients with hand dysfunction in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of X Central Hospital.The rehabilitation process of the group members was tracked through observation,interview and quantitative analysis,and the self-efficacy questionnaire and hand dysfunction severity assessment tool were used to assess the rehabilitation progress and self-efficacy changes of the group members.The analysis results showed that after the group work intervention,the self-efficacy of the group members was significantly increased,while the severity of hand dysfunction was reduced,which indicated that the group work intervention had a positive effect in enhancing the self-efficacy and rehabilitation effects of patients with hand dysfunction.关键词
