Complementary Integration of Advantages of Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine Clinical Practice-Clear Positioning,Certainty of Efficacy and Clarity of Mechanism

Abstract
The complementary fusion of two medical systems,Chinese medicine(CM)and Western medicine,is not only the intersection of ancient outstanding cultural heritage and contemporary scientific and technological cultural thoughts,methods and means,but also the convergence of humanities and science and technology.The complementary advantages of their clinical practices can greatly improve the clinical diagnosis and treatment level.In this paper,from the perspective of clinical practice,the authors first explain the thinking and logical differences between CM and Western medicine,and trace their origins.And then the functions and advantages of the single and combined use of CM and Western medicine were systematically analyzed,the problems and challenges of complementary integration of CM and Western medicine in clinical practice today were pointed out.Finally,the authors propose to strengthen the exploration of the complementary advantages of CM and Western medicine,strengthen the evaluation of the efficacy and safety of combination of CM and Western medicine,and strengthen the integration of original theory of CM with modern research.关键词
