摘要

Abstract

Drought monitoring and analysis were carried out in Hengshao Basin based on the normalized difference water index(NDWI).The results showed that NDWI could well reflect the process of drought occurrence and development.The periods and regions of drought monitored by NDWI had a good agreement with the periods and regions of severely low precipitation.In addition,the drought regions monitored by NDWI were mainly concentrated in the agricultural farming regions of the middle Hengshao Basin,which could indirectly reflect the occurrence of agricultural drought.
