摘要

Abstract

To realize the modernization of national agriculture and countryside,the higher agricultural and forestry education faces a formidable challenge in this new era,which requires the higher agricultural and forestry education to spare no effort to promote the curriculum ideological and political education in a comprehensive manner.Undoubtedly,carrying out the ideological and political construction throughout the talent cultivation would contribute to cultivating the application-oriented talent with enthusiasm for agriculture and farming.Meanwhile,the general en-tomology acts as the core course in the college of agriculture and forestry,therefore serving as an ideal target for the application of curriculum ideology and politics.To explore the ideological and political elements in the curriculum of general entomology,this work focused on three as-pects including the Chinese traditional culture,the forefront of progress in entomology,and the accomplishment of the pioneering entomologist.In summary,taking advantage of the ideological and political elements,the teaching of general entomology would definitely help the students to shoulder their responsibilities and devote themselves to the rural revitalization,to enhance their intellectual curiosity to their major,to strengthen their belief and striving for the agricultural modernization,and to achieve their personal values in Chinese Dream.
