Research on Urban Spatial Connection in Guangxi Based on Gravitational Model

Abstract
A comprehensive and accurate understanding on the current urban spatial connection pattern in Guangxi is of great significance for promoting high-quality economic development in Guangxi. The paper selects corresponding indicators and uses a gravity model to calculate and evaluate the urban quality, comprehensive distance between cities, and attractiveness between cities in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The results show that the development of various cities in Guangxi is uneven, and Nanning has a high central position. The overall urban spatial connection in Guangxi is not close enough, forming a "dense southwest and sparse northeast" network, with a significant gap in urban spatial connection between the north and south regions. The development of cities and peripheral cities affected by the shielding effect between cities lags behind other cities.关键词
